Canada’s longest running free-admission folk festival is now in its 35th year! Mark your calendars for August 15-18, 2024 for four days of music, culture and community as people come together on the hillside at Nicholls Oval Park next to the mighty Otonabee River

The festival kicks off with two ticketed concerts at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre and other downtown venues on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16.

Grab your canoes and kayaks because this epic paddling event is back!

Since 2017, Lock & Paddle has been a signature community paddling event held annually on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Lock & Paddle has been compared to a type of flash mob, with canoers and kayakers of all ages and skill levels coming together to ride the locks in a colourful kaleidoscope of fun.  Participants usually wear bright clothing, with some opting for whimsical costumes and amusing hats.

Get ready for a season packed with thrilling races, special events, and family fun!  The return of the Ontario Outlaw Super Late Models is booked for the Mid-Season Bash on July 13^th, with the 100-lap Ontario Sportsman Series on the lineup for July 22^nd.  The regular season ends on Labour Day Weekend, but the Annual Autumn Classic returns Thanksgiving weekend from Oct 11^th to 13^th.

The Annual Concerts in the Park series has returned to Frank Banks Gazebo in Victoria Park!

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join them for live entertainment.  Concerts are scheduled to take place on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 8pm and Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm during July and August.

Enjoy the Kawarthas’ original tractor show featuring power equipment displays, tractor games, vintage farm trucks, tractor and wagon rides.  The day concludes with a huge tractor parade through the village at 3pm!
