Nestled in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes region, Bethany transforms every May long weekend into a lively gathering place filled with fireworks, community events, classic cars, live music, and generations of local tradition.  Get ready for the ultimate May Long Weekend experience, proudly presented by the Bethany Athletic Society. What began as a local gathering has grown into a highly anticipated weekend featuring entertainment and activities for all ages while still maintaining the close-knit charm Bethany is known for.

Friday May 15^th 

Family BBQ 5-9 pm

Beer Garden 5pm- 1am

Fireworks at dusk

Admission - Adults $10.00

Children under 12 free

Saturday May 16^th 

Softball Tournament 8am – 6pm

Beer Garden 6pm – 12 am

Pavilion Party Featuring DJ Jeff Pearse

Tickets $5.00 at door (age of majority event 19+)

Pancake Breakfast 8am – 11am

35th Annual Show & Shine - Admission Spectators $3.00, Children under 12 free

Vehicle Entry $10

Registration 8am – 12pm – Judging begins at 12pm

Awards presented at 2pm

Monday May 20^th

Car Boot Sale – Begins at 8am

Bethany Parade begins at 11 am

Registration 9:30 am – family entertainment to follow at the park

Annual Pie & Cake Auction - Entries 10am – 12 pm, Judging 12 pm – 1pm

Whether you are returning for another year or experiencing the festivities for the first time, Bethany’s Victoria Day celebrations offer more than entertainment.  They offer a reminder of the importance of community, tradition, and creating memories together.

As cottages reopen, patios fill, and warmer weather finally arrives, there is no better way to kick off the summer season than by spending the long weekend in the welcoming village of Bethany.
