Canada’s longest running free-admission folk festival is now in its 35th year! Mark your calendars for August 15-18, 2024 for four days of music, culture and community as people come together on the hillside at Nicholls Oval Park next to the mighty Otonabee River
The festival kicks off with two ticketed concerts at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre and other downtown venues on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16.
Located at 725 Armour Road in Peterborough
Admission to their inclusive and accessible weekend festival is free, with donations encouraged.
The festival continues with two full days at Nicholls Oval Park on Saturday August 17 and Sunday August 18, featuring four stages of live music, their family-friendly Children's Village, Artisan Village, Food Village, Cameron’s Pavilion and more.
The Peterborough Folk Festival will also welcome over 30 artists and bands, including 12 local performers. The lineup once again features full gender parity and strong diversity, including Indigenous artists, artists of colour and artists from the LGBTQ+ communities.
